Lamm ML-2 Single-Ended Triode Amplifier

I’m selling one of my pairs of Lamm SETs. They are older vintage ML2, that are WAY better sonically then the current cheesy-sounding ML2.1. My amps are in "OK" cosmetic condition and in perfect, better then new, functional condition. The amps are 3 stages SET, 18W into a suitable load, and as far as I concern they are the most capable commercially available amplifiers....if you have good loudspeakers.. The amps will go with the original paper, shipping crates. If desired than the amps come with a supply of “no-alternative” replacement tubes. For a serious buyer the demonstration of amps could be arranged. There are further options available for those amps for a motivated buyer. Lamm L2 Reference preamplifier

The unit is one of the most remarkable and one of the most mysteries pleases of audio that I even seen/heard. If you know what I mean then you know it already. The L2's control unit and power supply are in fine cosmetic and operational conditions and they come with original shipping boxes and manual. The preamplifier come with two extra sets of selected NOS tubes.

Lamm Industries M1.1 Monoblock

This is a rare opportunity to get a SINGLE monoblock or Lamm’s hybrid. If you are in the world of high performance home-theaters then this amp might be very good driver for your mid-channel. The amp should be in mint condition; at least it is how I remember it when I saw it 5-6 years ago. It has been sitting in it's box in storage since then, where I discovered it last week. The amp can drive a very low load if necessary and all together it is a nice sounding amplifier form the times when this company still manufactured ambitiously sounding products.

Sansui TU-X1 Tuner

It is it. If you still in a neighborhood where you can get a good FM station then you would be able to get better sound from an off-the-shelf tuner. The Sansui TU-X1 in narrow mode does as good as Kenwood L-02t and in it’s wide mode it leaves anything in dust. Sansui TU-X1 is the most musical tuner that I ever experienced and according to the FM professionals who spent 30 years to work on tuners the TU-X1 is the most capable tuner they ever came across.

REL Precedent 646C tuner

REL Precedent 646C tuner in excellent condition and better then excellent working condition. The tuner in original state with surgical modifications performed on it by a technical who works with RELs for years. The tuner is perfectly aligned and performs better then original specification. The original very inferior output stage of this tuner is removed and much better buffer is used after detector. The tuner might be configured with bull-in multiplex Decoder for additional $1000. Otherwise it will output as it designed just abuffed composite signal. The unit comes with original manual.

Rohde & Schwarz MSDC Multiplex Stereo Decoder

This is “it” of Multiplex Decoders. It is a high precession measurement instrument with number on-board measurement amps and 3 single – ended output stages for audio section. The unit demonstrate a phenomenal measurement performance but it took for a while until I was able to get out of it superior sound. The decoder sounds very far from stock version and I challenge anybody to found more capable Stereo Multiplexer. The MSDC Multiplex Decoder goes only rack-mounted with Rohde & Schwarz’s proprietary IO connectors. This unit was modified to accommodate standard RCA for audio and BNC and AC for composite signal inputs (can be fed from 2 tuners at the same time)

Well, if you look forward to buy it then you know what it is. This is the Rolls Royce Corniche and Bugatti Veyron in the same box. The unit is in perfect operational condition. Available along in original condition for $2700 or for $3000 with some minor modification improving sound quality (not modifications in RF stages).
