I wonder whether an Altec 416 in a sealed enclosure plus transconductance amplifier would be the better solution for most people/circumstances....

This is another bass horn Floor Idea, they use only one 416 driver. It is time aligned. I would like it better as a ceiling horn, or maybe against the walls. The mouth is long and skinny....

My amp is a stereo 2a3 / 45 .
Lately I find my self listening in mono because of the area of my apartment and because I can focus better on the reproduction .
