I assume you plan to use one of these as the driver tube. Do you distinguish any difference in the sound between the two tubes? I am curious as I have been looking over a big pile of them and they respond quite differently regarding vibrat...

I am not the person to speak about the 6E5P but I have messed with hybrids. If you want LF power, I can say I've heard some pretty simple plate amps that "work" at LF. It would be helpful, and it might even be necessary for you to tell more about you...
