I've had a pair of PM4 and GOTO SG30W sitting by cupboard for several years now and instead of just watchinng the foam rot on the Lowthers, I was thinking of slapping the lot into a sealed box for fun. The PM4 would have it's own chamber of course.&n...

I kind of got stuck in selecting an upper midrange driver, above 2kHz. If a driver is going to screech in your ears it is going to be in these frequencies. I was never really satisfied with the range of 1" compression drivers I tried. That is wha...

I got GOTO drivers to see how they are going to work in 46Hz horn! This is just luck, as I never expected to find them in Russia, but I did! They are in mint condition, used very little, bought 8 years ago directly from GOTO factory.I have 4pcs - 2 per...

As you can predict what I am going to say, those horns are the problem, not the GOTO driver.... Why will anyone buy GOTO driver and then not follow GOTO recommendation to use GOTO horn??? I don't think anyone buy a Lam...

Hi,this is my first post. This forum seems to be the hotbed for Goto discussion of some sort but there is barely any data but only a swamp of assumptions. So I bought a pair of SG-370DX drivers with S600 horns and measured them. Here's the frequency...

Well, as many know I consider most of Goto users are mishugina. They might like these Goto drivers but what made then to stay with Goto hyperbolic horns is beyond me. They are HF drivers and hyperbolic has acoustic impedance jump at the end of the ho...

I did some experiments today again with GOTO in my existing horn and it is obvious for me that I need different horn for GOTO.Existing horn was modelled and designed for Supravox and I see perfect curve with it.But GOTO in it shows same curve for 50-...

Twogoodears, MINGSU or whoever else why know, I have a question to ask As I understand GOTO use mostly titanium diaphragms but they calm them by plastic surround. This FRP technology the used nowadays in all GOTO form from Fiberglass Reinforced Plas...

I think you are confusing two things - moving channels and time alignment. Moving channels changes the relation between channels and room. It is powerful and expressive tool. Time alignment is the unanimous arriving of wave front to ears of...

GOTO always recommend to use 1st order active crossover and 2nd order passive crossover. The reason to use 2nd order for passive crossover is to protect the driver. Of course, the user can use whatever they like the best but the recommendation ...

I shold make it clearer:The Goto was used in a Goto 150Hz horn, crossed at 180Hz.I guess that is a proper implementation for Goto. The Fane was in a 140Hz tractrix horn with a 10cm throat and a not optimised (to large ) back chamber, and no crossover ...

I would like to expose what my intentions are what I was tiling above about Goto 555 or a similar 200Hz driver. My S2 does not stress the bottom of my 183Hz horn. My multi-cell is expositional and those types of horns do pick honk very aggressively ...

Interesting, according to the link the guy moved from 4 Goto drivers to Rulited Lowther and Foxtex. I wonder if he got sick to burn his Goto drivers. I also wonder what would happen if insted all of it he use the default JBL 2440. Surly, both Goto an...
