I think of this (abandoned?) project every so often, remain curious if it ever got past the facination stage? My interest includes the "scaleable" aspect, whether powerful amps of this ilk "sound like" lower powered amps of this ilk, or - perhaps better to say, low and high powered Amp X "deliver the same goods".
