Your dancing days are long forgotten past (if there ever were any) and your "rebel period' may be akin to Glen Gould's eccentricity of plunking the piano keys. Your audio pursuit is like "The Sorrows of Young Werther" in intensity of imagination but misery of real flesh & blood carnal pleasures
