This is a separate issue from the RI, as far as I understand. In case of Dannoys, RI done with 2x 5" "woofers" per channel at a distance of 1.5m does give a feeling of a stronger bass but this is not what a good ULF would give. I'm still missing the "LF breathing" although less now Rerurn to Romy the Cat's Site
