I think you have misinterpreted what Bob is saying. Having the bass and center image right is only a means to an end. Not the end goal per se. Also, with the levels of precision he mentions in this procedure and considering the results only become aparent (explode) once you have perfectly completed each step, everything would collapse with the slightest movement. It's a very fragile thing if you think about it. So fragile indeed that with each component change you make you have to redo the process all over again. Rerurn to Romy the Cat's Site
