It was completely unexpected but the NYP's Brukner 8 was spectacular! The sound in the Hall was horrible but the Gilbert reading and the orchestra play were beyond my expectations and very very good all together. The NYP need to rash to a good hall with proper acoustics, re-rehearsal there, getthe chromatic articulation improved and to record their version if the work ASAP. If you are near NY then you will be crazy to miss the opportunity to hear them this week.Rerurn to Romy the Cat's Site
