HI oxric,
Here's another french approach which I think is similar to romy's earlier idea about having the carpenter build the cabinets into the back wall. You can see it in the back of the picture. The problem of course is the cost to build without really knowing what you are going to get. Maybe Romy needs to come over here for some wine/cheese and french horn listening??
