So I wrote one of the big DJ/producer guys at WFMT, complaining about the horrible sound last night.He wrote right back saying I was absolutely right, the Phil broadcast had sounded awful.Turns out FMT had made a last minute decision to take the PBS feed, which was in mono,and "had the fidelity of an Edison Cylinder" ( probably an insult to the cylinders ).What they broadcasted was not an FMT production of the Phil. He thanked me for my vigilance,agreed to pass on my appraisal, and promised that they would not likely make the same mistake again.So, chalk one up to the complainers!MatsRerurn to Romy the Cat's Site
