Ironically, and in contrary to the believers of many audio freaks, there are very little differences between the conditions responsible for a great live musical performance and great audio performance.

During live musical events we certainly need skills of the musical event participants: composers, conductors, musicians, singers, listeners etc. During reinstating of a musical event via a playback we definitely need the playback’s skills to renders sound accurately. However, as much as during live musical event the only skills and inspiration of musicians are never enough the very same happens with playback: high quality of sound is not only what is necessary in order to convert an audio event into a worthy life experience.

There are few other things, in many instances very minute things, that turn the lights on and those “little things in audio” are remarkably similar to the “little things” that play part during our live music exposure.
