We are the product of all our lifestyles experiences, but in this case, the family did not share the fathers singular vision. I am sure this is not because they were forced to work on the system, rather because the music was obviously not the middle point of this build. As far as the return on invest, 1/10 sounds about right.

From my own viewpoint, it would have been nice if the guy actually enjoyed Music via his system (and not saying he didn't...). On the other hand, a hobby is a hobby. As far as people judging that the guy was not present for his kids, I wish them good luck with their own relationships with their own children. Books, records, audio equipment, classic cars, include your own obsession, it's rare for things to go up in value if and when one wants to generate cash or downsize. More like way down in value.
