I have to admit that my first unsuccessful experiment with APS PurePower regenerator made me anxious like hell. In context of the none-loaded unit I’ve heard some results that I was searching for a long time. The APS claim that they have “fixed” it a...

Well, another page of my saga with APS regenerator is turned. I got the updated APS unit. It kind of “works” as I redefined the definition of word “works”. Under normal circumstances I would walk away from it but there are some moments in my “bad ele...
….when it drives what it is willing to drive then the APS PurePower delivers the Sound that makes me willing to write a request to Pope asking him to canonize that damn regenerator.
While the APS guys trying to figure out why this unit can not handle power (which more likely involved a phone call to China :-) I decided to give another try across everything, repeating my last listening, this time in relaxed environment with diffe...
The second action is a process of active injection of sonic particulars into down-line components…..That dual activity should be always understood as two separate elements of PurePower’s contribution.
This re...

Paul,
You certainly have an attitude toward the subject and I have no idea why. The subject of this thread, or put in this way - the subject of my interest, is how to deal with electricity problem and how to provide a playback with stable (sou...

The example of the APS’ regeneration and the quality of sound attainable has clearly proved that class D is the way to do the things in audio electricity. I have been asking myself what is next? Well, this is not a question that I ask myself in a...
I did not say how my saga with APS Pure Power regenerator finish but it never finished. Since the end of the last year the regenerators is sitting in my closet and I have sent the unit’s main board to APS people for the “re...

As they told, the APS UPS unit was sent back to the manufacturer where it was exposed to further thorough retesting. Preliminary the results of re- testing turned out to be very contradictive with that results that I got in mine listening room, and t...
The AC factor? This is more complex. My last APS PurePower reregenerator (the fifth unit!!!) does quite amassing things but the reregenerator’s use is not as a straight forward as it might be expected. The PurePower is VER...

To all of you who expressed interest about my electricity saga generally and about APS in particularly. I have still no result with PurePower regenerator. I got the “fixed” unit but I did not listen it as the unit presented a result that requires fur...

Very-very interesting result, too interesting to talk about it in a few words.
... I will showily dump in this thread some observations of mine about APS PurePower regenerator...
If you, I, they, we, whoever… consider APS PurePower as just a power treating or regenerating devise then I feel th...

As I said in my post above the PurePower has well-defined double-action in its contribution to Sound of playback
The first action is process of power regeneration and getting rid of negative influences of bad electricity. Let from now and on to call...
Finally, the PurePower regenerator does not address problems of playback with electricity ..
The last few days I had a chance to look deeper into the nature of PurePower’s Sound, particularly in an ability to modera...
I really can't understand how a company selling a power regeneration device priced well over 2000 or maybe 3000 USD could send you 5 units and being al them "defective". Did I miss anything here?
Nope, you do not m...

I can contact them again and ask for a price quote for the SLC. These people don't do audio at all. When I contacted them for my RE-1009/2T they couldn't understand how it was possible that any audio equipment could take any profit of their products....
… looking like the Kemp's unit. But that's provided the input electricity is still under 5% of distortion. They also state that that performance is under linear load, so it might be possible that using chokes or trannies loa...
OK, everything was fine and I might do into the sonic nuances of the PurePower unit. The PurePower drives a lot of switching nose from output. It has the filters but they help only partially. Adding capacitance to the PureP...

I got the last revision of APS Purepower regenerator. This one has all newest Purepower updates and in addition it is more powerful -2000W regenerator. Whoever follow my saga with APS know that is the 7th APS regenerator I tried. I have a lot o...

OK, at this point I might say my patience with APS has paid off and this new 2000W unit is something way more civilized – a very cool New Year gift to me. The result that the regenerator produces is VERY interning and I think it would be worth to tal...

I appreciate audio devices that instead of demonstration of own qualities force you to think about sound. The new Purepower 2000 is turning to be such a devise. I have so many ideas and so many thoughts with the sound the 2000 produces that I truly s...

I presume that whoever read this thread have gone over my comments about the Sound of the former PurePower 1050, particulary my comments about the PurePower’s “Super Texture” at the page #5 of this thread. This controversial “Super Texture” was my ma...

One of the most pleasant things about the Purepower 2000 (PP2000) that it in contrary to any other power devise I hear it has very limited if any impact to the original sound of a playback. Somehow the PP2000 surgically removes all negative manifesta...

The PP2000, eventually(!!!!), demonstrated something that I was looking for long time. Years after year I read and listen comments of different audio people when they describe benefits of different power treatment devises and year after year th...

Upper range effect is amassing, though not much different then with other regenerators. With PS Audio’s Power Plant the compression at MF-HF is also reduced or eliminated and that ugly heavy dense pressure blanket got lifted. The Power Plant while do...

This is very interesting subject that gave me a lot of head ache until I figured the things out.
It is known that I have aversion to ground that comes with mains. It is very dirty, so a few years back I drove 15 feet copper poll in pretreated backya...
